Our client is seeking a Physician Assistant who can assist in providing patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations to evaluate patient needs. The PA will also order and interpret diagnostic results, and create treatment plans.
Position Details:
The initial schedule is one day per week (Thursday), four days a month. Additional days may be required when other locations open. Working hours are from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break. However, the hours may vary. The PA must be able to attend a 2-day training class. The compensation offered is $500 per day based on experience.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be proficient in performing Sports medicine/Orthopedic exams, Joint injections in an out-patient setting, and reading and interpreting X-rays and MRI. The PA should be able to manage patient flow during the clinic hours and ensure that each patient receives timely, clean, and professional care. The candidate should also be able to multitask, have excellent bedside manners, and be a team player. The job requires working in a fast-paced environment.
Required licensing and experience:
The candidate must have at least one year of clinical experience and be licensed to practice in the State of New York.
